OK. We are officially obsessed with Nicki Minaj's newly subtle and sophisticated style. Remember how perfectly beautiful she looked at the MTV Movie Awards this year? (I, personally, haven't been able to forget.) She decided to take a similar route at the premiere for her new movie The Other Woman last night, and we got deja vu in ALL the right ways. Her cream-colored, knitted Alexander McQueen dress was just as discreetly striking and conservative as the black McQueen from a couple weeks ago. Maybe even MORE SO, what with its unique texture and neckline and all.

But fear not, all ye fans of Nicki's ~wilder~ fashion choices of yore. She did a quick wardrobe change for the premiere's after-party, and her second dress certainly veered closer to Minaj 1.0. She traded cleavage for midriff in a Jean Paul Gaultier number, boasting a white tube top and sarong bottom connected by a bodice of cross-hatched string. The skirt also featured VERY subtle mesh patterns for a little extra touch of skin. This look was definitely more colorful than her red carpet McQueen, but it's still infinitely more demure than the pasties and wigs we used to see her in. THAT'S for sure.
We love Nicki no matter what she wears, but if she's hoping to adopt her new role as blossoming movie star, she's certainly on the right track. Keep it up, girl!
